Ona Strip Mining Permit Kicked Back And Forth

The Ona strip mining permit has been kicked back and forth between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Administrative Hearing Officer.

FDEP insists that they should not have to consider their own research when issuing new strip mining permits.

Please keep in mind that IMC (referred to in some documents) is really Mosaic—the company that resulted at the merger of IMC Phosphate and Cargill.
